Southside students had a blast at the annual Fall Fest and Great Pumpkin Run on Friday, October 17! The day kicked off with a competitive staff inflatable race that set the tone for the fun ahead. Students enjoyed playing fall-themed games at outdoor stations and proudly wore shirts they had decorated with festive designs. The excitement continued as they dashed around the soccer field in a spirited fun run.
Thanks to the generous support of the Market Square Food Lion, which set up a tent and donated snacks and fun trinkets, every student enjoyed an extra treat. Prizes were awarded to the fastest male and female runners in each grade, as well as for the most creative t-shirt designs and top fundraisers.
This beloved event, made possible through the collaboration of the PTO and school staff, once again brought the Southside community together for a day filled with laughter, energy, and pumpkin-flavored memories.
